Citizens Bank IT Security Professional in Cranston, Rhode Island
The IT Security Professional within the Corporate Security and Resilience (CS&R) Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is an experienced security professional providing second level support for the Citizens Distributed Security team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for escalation of issues and more technical aspects of the job along with on-boarding and support of privileged accounts within Citizens Password Vault technology; while providing technical expertise to both internal and external departments within the organization.
Additional responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Providing Level 2 support for the day-to-day operations of the Citizens Distributed IT Security team
Providing security services that enable business while maintaining the highest levels of service and support without compromising a strong risk position
Providing leadership and mentoring for junior staff on the Distributed IT Security team
Acting as a focal point for resolution and/or escalation of Distributed IT Security Service issues
Managing resources and time as appropriate to ensure successful delivery of services
Providing thought leadership and expert Active Directory Security guidance for today and the future
Ensuring delivery against operational control measures and addressing via Service Improvement Plans where a shortfall has been identified.
Developing and improving regional standards, frameworks & models to support service excellence and ensure adherence
Experience and Skills:
5-7 years professional experience, preferably in a financial services environment
Minimum of 5 years IT Risk or Information Security experience, preferably in a large corporate environment
Well versed experience in Active Directory security architecture
Proven service and delivery capability / focus
Proven experience with highly complex risk issues in a technology environment and appropriate mitigation strategies.
Knowledgeable on the regulatory requirements that impact the business lines that TSA supports (i.e. GLBA, SOX, PCI)
Demonstrated understanding of CoBIT and ITIL Frameworks
Proven ability to influence and gain trust at senior management levels in multi-cultural environments
Ability to manage complex activities simultaneously to short timescales
Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement
Extensive knowledge of US regulatory requirements as they pertain to Distributed I Security
Collaborate effectively with other technical teams to improve business processes
Education and Certifications:
- B.S. in Information Technology or Business Management preferred
