Enterprise Quality is undergoing a huge transformation and we are looking to change the way we do testing. The Enterprise Quality Assurance team is architecting and designing the QA ecosystem for the Data, Analytics and SOA Platform. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a pivotal role to establish frameworks for automated testing, SOA, Service virtualization, Enterprise data and data quality assurance in addition to helping the organization move towards Continuous testing practices. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Support Software Development Life Cycle processes and deliverables.

• Demonstrate strong accountability for the quality

• Engage in quality assurance delivery through hands on participation and collaboration

• Assist in development and implementation of comprehensive QA test plans and cases; execute test cases and/or user stories

• Work in collaboration with the Developer to Identify and Report defects and issues for multiple business applications.

• Support Agile team deliverables

• Partner with technology teammates to design intelligent testing strategies

• Design, maintain and execute automation test scripts

• Provide support to Performance and Data Warehouse teams with test case design, test data creation, and understand the design changes

Tools and Technologies (I am not sure of we need to call out specific tools as they are college graduates. Please advise)

• Selenium

• Java/Python programming

• Hadoop

• SOAP UI

• Perfecto/Mobile Labs

• Appium for Mobile Automation

• Quality Center

• CA Agile Central (Rally)

Qualifications:

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS?

• BS in Computer Science or a technical degree.

• Conceptualize testing requirements based on both external and internal inputs

• Have a Passion for technology

• Basic business insurance knowledge

• Introductory knowledge of Agile methodology

• Quick learner in classroom setting and on your own

• Have an understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels

• Ability to Collaborate with local & off shore development & testing teams

• Ability to complete assigned tasks with supervision and guidance from the lead

• Ability to work independently and in a group setting.

• Solve complex problems and have a strong empathy for our users and customers
