Title: Business Consultant - Product Delivery Quality (Group Benefits)Location: United States-Connecticut-HartfordJob Number: 1800833Group Benefits Product Delivery supports the drafting, filing and implementation of group insurance contracts. This position is responsible for quality review of our contract consultation, drafting, filings and/or implementation activities associated with our group insurance contracts. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Product Delivery. Specific duties of the Product Delivery Quality Specialist (Business Consultant) include:
Conduct quality reviews of group product form filings in accordance with the Forms and Filing Quality Management Program
Maintain, enhance and implement improvements to quality program to align with process enhancements, new products or new processes
Communicate quality review findings to specialists and managers
Identify and report on quality trends and conduct root cause analysis
Assist with the creation and validation of best practices related to Product Delivery process, procedures and systems.
Help ensure guidelines support regulatory compliance.
Recommend process improvement, and the streamlining of existing workflows with a focus on end to end processes across business functions.
Identify key opportunities and work with management to develop best practices, resolve procedural overlap and inconsistencies, and/or provide training in response to key learnings
Identify and report regulatory trends observed as a result of filing quality reviews
Provide coaching to specialists and managers through consistent, clear and continuous feedback through reviews
Support various projects as a subject matter expert as directed by manager
Minimum of 2 years of insurance business operations expertise
Solid knowledge of group products, such as Life, Disability and AD&D
Effective written and verbal communication skills
