Fundamental Components:

Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Lead and participate in the design, build and manage large scale data structures, pipelines, and efficient Extract/Load/Transform (ETL) workflows for databases. Develop large scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that helps generate insights and addresses reporting needs. Write ETL processes, design database systems and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing. Collaborate with analytics or data science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes. Coordinate changes to computer databases. Build data marts and data models to support data science and other internal customers. Integrate data from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards. Analyze current information technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions for database systems. Experiment with available tools and advise on new tools in order to determine optimal solution given the requirements dictated by the model/use care.


Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics Engineering or closely related.

Minimum 5 years of data analysis/reporting experience. Must have experience using DB2; designing & optimizing queries to build data pipelines; and experience using programming to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems. Must have experience building business intelligence reports using IBM Cognos or SAP Crystal Reports. Must have experience using JCL or schedulers like Zeke; MySQL or NoSQL; and UNIX utilities & UNIX Commands.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
