Wolters Kluwer Director of Product Management in Hartford, Connecticut
Wolters Kluwer's Governance, Risk & Compliance division is looking for two Directors of Product Management to join our LIS team. These positions will preferably be located in New York or in the northeast. Possible remote considerations but no relocation potential.

Establish and manager an overall product strategy that supports growth by maximizing retention and driving new sales
Uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and launch of products and services
Direct the activities of the product management team to exploit new growth areas and initiate new product development
Lead the talent management processes through active coaching, recruiting and organizational development activities including talent review, training, and cultivation of new leaders using available programs and tools
Maintain effective communication with executives and managers across the company to help ensure proposer sensitivity to the needs of the product development unit
Act as product growth champion, helping to ensure product plans align with customer and sales needs and that CT Corporation is delivering a steady stream of product enhancements, new products and sales tools to drive new revenue
Work closely with product groups and others within business unit to create and execute on product line growth plans and marketing plans for each product line
Works on new product and product enhancements, providing input on product features, content and design and aligns with Segment Management and Sales to coordinate successful market launch
Conduct market research using traditional research methods, as well as e-mail, first-hand calls and visits to customers
Participate in the development of marketing messages, product offers, content to support those messages, and list selection when needed
Identify new and appropriate product line growth opportunities using the data warehouse and other customer data and customer research
A minimum of twelve years of related product management and/or marketing experience, with at least five years of management experience; preferably working in a multi-division organization with various sales channels
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Experience developing and launching new and existing product lines, as well as demonstrated success running product line financial indicators ideal
Ability to coordinate cross-functional groups to accomplish product and revenue objectives
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent strategic thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to identify customer segments and target products and promotions to each segment
