IT Cyber Security Governance Coordination, this position will be an additional resource on the existing Enterprise Vulnerability Management team, aiding in Aetnas Asset Management, Configuration and Vulnerability Management programs to drive information security controls by imbedding hygiene practices within the core IT processes in order to reduce the time to remediate defects and improve availability.

Fundamental Components:

Helping to drive and develop governance, policy, process and procedures for inventories of both physical and virtual assets and provides a complete picture of what, where, and how assets are being used, providing better visibility that leads to more efficient asset utilization and security. Providing a full understanding of all company assets and their correlating controls will reduce IT support remediation time; decreasing overall asset risk and vulnerability. Helping to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities leveraging scanning capabilities and remediation process to fix the vulnerabilities and KPI reporting to measure the effectiveness of these controls. In addition, developing a scalable enterprise configuration management framework that will support industry standard requirements - Center for Internet Security (CIS) -


Strong leadership experience, collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.

Experience within a highly technical large data processing environment including mainframe, midrange, network and distributed services. Strong leadership experience, ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities, effective management of resources and strong communication skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Financial experience a plus.

Enterprise, application and information architecture design experience preferred.

Strong analytical skills used to identify and resolve problems.

Experience with infrastructure design/implementation.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
