About The Opportunity
What you’ll do
The role supports users the usage of business applications, considers the needs of the business and bring options and/or alternatives to address them, as well as drives improvement activities surrounding the business application processes. It will also be involved on application implementations across all AES US Clusters, with prior testing, updating, and periodic status checks to ensure the solutions are satisfying the business requirements. This role may get involved in and possibly lead some application implementations driven from the global GKN Aerospace division across AES US sites. The role will also interact with the AES Infrastructure team and Application teams across Global AES IT.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assess, coordinate and review all issues and impacts associated with applications support and business processes.
Work independently on escalated issues and also gather the necessary network to facilitate troubleshooting if necessary.
Create/facilitate and influence best practices environmental with IT community.
Lead teams and projects to resolve complex technical issues.
Responsible for create troubleshooting guides.
Working together with Super Users on frequently-asked-questions (FAQ) to minimize the number of stakeholders inquiries and improve the learning material for users.
Research problems and bugs that are reported, followed by resolutions, and they should then continue to be monitored to ensure the stakeholders have the expected outcome.
Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field required.
4+ years of experience in IT Application Support experience, including experience in a manufacturing environment, required.
Ability to travel domestically 15-25% required.
U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred.
Experience with InfinityQS, TipQA, Forcam, and/or Qlik Sense application packages preferred.
Proficiency with Business Applications such as ERP, QMS, SPC, OEEE, Maintenance, Tool and Gauge, etc. preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate in order to ensure understanding of stakeholder requests and needs and to effectively and share relevant company policies and practices.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of the internal organization and external organizations.
Ability to take ownership of problems and follow through for resolution.
Ability to develop credibility quickly and work independently with a high degree of initiative while also being a team player who works closely with other members of different teams.
Excellent organizational, project management, and problem solving skills.
Must stay up-to-date with all changes in the technological field to support the stakeholders with new solutions.
